H.L. jagdpanther plastic idlers removal

Post by Sub »

Hi Guys.

just started updating my H.L. jagdpanther.

I have installed metal gearboxes and metal sprokets and want to change the plastic idlers for metal ones, the question is how do you get the standard plastic idlers off ??
I can then fit the metal tracks, any info please.

Regards Sub.

Based on the after market track tensioner set you chose drilling is required to install these kits.In my case and other with Jagdpanther's and Panther G their are post to be removed and a template that comes with the kit that demonstrates the placing of mounting holes.

Their are several types and they all operate a little differently,if you need further help use the search function and research the forum as their are many build threads on this subject, then return here with any questions.

cheers sax. i will be fitting a fan to the rx18 and have seen your posts on the subject. do you leave the plasic case on the rx 18 and just mount the fan above it to cool it or do you place any air holes in the case to aid cooling. also has any one fitted an amp to the standard sound unit ??.
regards sub.
