Re: Tony,s 205 rebuild
Now I feel at last she is shaping up too be 205, and too be honest i feel that I do not wish too add the red paint to the numbers , but hey time will tell ,........I have cut the zim for the front badge and now added div logo ok it is not a decal but will rub off either , and I also added the same to the rear panel,. i also added the smoke effect to the rear stacks and forward rear deck area , not much but enough, also I have given the rear grills a touch of dark gray and black just enough too make it different from the surrounding area ,next I shall be adding the deck fittings and turret tracks and there lower hangers, the barrel muzzel brake also received a little dark paint...at least when I now look at her she is,..... 205,.............

Hi,
I've got to say I've been watching this thread closely. Top drawer stuff. Your attention to detail is inspirational. So much so, after seeing the work you done on the lower hull, I had a strip down and revisited the lower hull on my Tiger. It's amazing how work on those 'little' details really pulls the whole tank together.
Keep up the superb work and I await, eagerly, your next instalment.

Now I am rolling along, here you will see that the rear panel is now finished , just a touch of paint required on the pin on the starter plate made from copper wire, the jack has been located from where it was , I feel a tad too high, but never mind ay, the deck has now had the cable and cleaning rods clamps with the small but great screws added, and also the fire extinguisher replaced ..............

Re: Tony,s 205 rebuild
Well we now come too the closing chapter of this build , you will see that I have modded some of the tools , like as I had ground off the pry bar so had make a new from plastic and brass , shorten the axe as they used the axe from the tiger 2 on the very late models, the spade handle replaced with a cocktail stick , tapered down and the end rounded , these then all stuck on, and the number filled in with the red paint, as there a large number of pics,, I shall do these in two lots , trust you have enjoyed what i have done..........
