That's one of the nicest ambush cammo paint jobs I've seen Mcevoyi. Great work.

I wanted to do a similar scheme on my Tamiya Panther but chickened out after spraying the basic 3 colour scheme. I was worried it might look like an attack of the measles!

Looking at yours I might screw up the courage and complete the job.

Now that looks GOOD, however did you do that turret ? it looks fantastic even I could be temped to change a Pantiger into one of these fersome beasts. Any chance of doing some sort of build thred on this baby ?. All the best and a happy new year to you mcevoyi and thanks for sharing

Have to agree this is a great looking Panther with a great paint job, i also would like to see a build thred on this  8)

hi all

thanks for all the comments .... its was a simple build to be honest ..... the turret was a scratch build .... and the chassis was a HL panther .... and the first thing i did was streach it by 27 mm  and change the back plate angle .. and new hull bow front plate

the paint job ..... again simple to do... honest! .. ho;fords red brown car primer .. then humbrol paints sprayed on with airbrush

now the best book i have ever found is panzer model masterclass by tony greenland .. if you see it buy it .... it explains every thing of how to paint german armour ..and from that you can paint just about anything .......

next project .... VODKA
