Jagd panther stowage questions

Post by Dragon245 »

Hi All
Putting together a late Jagd, has anyone out there got pics of the following:-
The antenna stowage tube brackets where they mount on rear of the hull,
Where the axe was stowed if fitted at all :S :S :S

Although this is an early Jagdpanther, the tube is at the back so i presume it uses the same supports. Late model Panther ones should be the same.

Hope this helps

further to this, here is an intersting thread on another forum about late Jagdpanthers which show the tube abd tool stowage. Looks like the axe may have been carried inside, but not in all cases.

The axe was mounted on the aft edge of the engine deck, the tube was a unit level mod (654th)--standard config was to leave it on the side.
