Hi everybody,
Over the past few months I've been looking for a good informative and fun website on RC tanks, .....and now I'm stuck here
I was addicted to RC helicopter for quite sometime but now feel like I wanted to hold a transmitter to something that makes my heart beat as normal as it should be beating... hope the Tamiya Leo2A6 wouldn't disappoint me.
Understand that adding some upgrade parts would make it more robust and more attractive, so any of your advice/suggestion will be much appreciated, I'm still lost here.

Welcome Bu, well look at it from this point of view, a tank hasnt got very far to fall, the worst thing you could do is, step on, or drop it, and as far as control, its not like trying to balance a dinner plate on a marble, tried it, I fly fixed wing or did five years ago, the club I was in got to political, took all the fun out of it, anyway, you will find all you need on this forum and most members are only to eager to help, regards Doug.

Welcome to the Forum There is a wealth of experience and information on here with members who are only too pleased to help. There is a search box located in the top right corner of the main banner, or you can simply post a question on the Forum and someone is bound to come along who can help you out.
Modern tanks do not have quite such a large following as the Tanks from the Second World War but a 'tank is a tank' so most questions should be fairly straight forward to answer. :~

The Tamiya Leo 2A6 is a great kit to build, I would suggest metal tracks and a few aftermarket metal replacement parts. In My view, don't bother with the Gun stabalizer unit, at this scale, its too responsive to small up and down gradients and the tank ends up looking like a Darlek Luckily, you can turn it off..
