Buying my 1st Tiger advice...

Post by granpa »

As i'am all new too this i wondered if anyone could recommend a source for a Tiger 1, looked at Tank Zone who seem to have some upgraded ones in stock, i've also sent an e-mail off to Welsh Dragon Models but i think there on holiday at the moment is there anyone else i should be looking at in the UK.

Thanks Andy

A lot of people here have had problems with tank zone. I bought my first tank drom rctank.de.
It's a german website but Dominique can deal with you through perfect english and is the most helpfull vendor I have found. He also has a number of highly upgraded Tigers and probably cheaper than Tankzone.

Here is a link.

http://www.rctank.de/index.php?cPath=21 ... sid=fb3ebe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Prices are in euro.

Worth going for one with the metal hull and tracks already installed. The late tiger on his site is equipped with just about every upgrade. Also you need to decide if you need IR battle system. If you have nobody to battle with its a waste. Then decice if you want a bb firing model. I went for flash with recoil. Dominique has all upgrades listed with each tank so choose carefully. If you have any questions or requests for special upgrades just contact him. He will respond quickly.

Contact Dave at Forgebear. He is a member of this site and a great guy to deal with.
