Well i must say that i was most impressed by the Jagdtiger in Bovington :-)

At first i was most impressed by the presence of the KT (Porsche) when entering the room but the Jagdtiger was simply unbeliavable. If you wish to build one in less time than i did (and perhaps more accurate) try this:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 1446wt_889" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

when i started i did not know about it till i was 70% down the line :-)

Hi KomandantX, :~
You say that you used a Tamiya KT, Hull suspension and tracks with cannibalised Pantiger. Can I just ask what parts of the Pantiger did you actually need to build this fine looking ' Hunting Tiger ' ?

Dietrich Hello,
OK Tamiya KT hull was lengthened by 25mm using ply to represent the actual JagdTiger chassis (400mm longer than KT). Suspension standard KT and tracks also KT (i had some spare links). I mustsay that originally i was going to use only the Pantiger components with a ply hull but i did come across the Tamiya KT items and used those especially as the tracks of the Pantiger would have been too narrow and out of scale (though not significantly). If your intention is to keep the cost down you can just use Pantiger parts only and still look more or less the same.

Hull machine gun is off ebay with built in flashing LED

Pantiger stuff:
Motors and Electronics, RC, smoker, modified gun elevation and traverse. Tools (will be added), front bulge, fan coversand other minor details, jack, detailing of the rear plate etc. Machine gun will be fitted at the rear deck.
The road heels are all Pantiger but reversed, i did have some spare ones too as there are 9 axles per side. The axles used are actually chopped up 6inch nails. Some of he handles.
I will try to add some picture of the building stages
