One track sort of stopped working.

Hi guys, I was playing with my HL tiger 1 this afternoon when one of the tracks stopped working.

Turned it upside and both worked, put back on floor and work again for about 30 seconds and same again one side wouldn't turn forward or backward. But does when not on the ground ie no resistance.

Tried leaving for a few minutes, unplugged and reconnected battery, but still same.

Any suggestions?

hi it sounds like a striped gear when you put the tank on the ground it slips when no resistance it will run or the gear tooth is going round on the motor shaft hope this helps dave

Solved

The plug (for that side motor) in the RX unit had come loose. Probably down to me a combination of taking it to bits the other day to dismantle the turret plus my over enthusastic obstacles. finally caused it to come out.

I'm glad I was thinking I damaged the electronics or something, didn't help reading some posts about the RX18 overheating etc.

Plus getting use to constantly taking to bits to fix things, must of took apart about five times already and only had it two weeks.
