Re: WORLD OF TANKS
Hi, I'm registered but have not started playing. I have no experience with this type of game but would like to learn.Perhaps their is a team player selection were we could double up as a team? You command and I'll drive? Or you command and I'LL follow orders? cheers Blake

Re: WORLD OF TANKS
As Dave says you need to purchase gold. £8.95 odd a month will enable you to run a Premium garage which will help you earn more credits and XP per battle.
You also need at least one player with a premium account to form a team, and up to 15 to form a clan.

thanks for the reply guys, sorry to appear a bit thick but how do i buy the gold, everytime i click on the buy gold section it takes me to another page and then i can`t find out what to do next.i have sent loads of emails to them but have had no reply, thanks
Re: WORLD OF TANKS
when you click buy gold from the game launcher it will open up an IE window and ask for your email address and password (same password you use to login with). Then you choose how much gold you want and then it will bounce you to a payment window where you can choose your payment method.

Re: WORLD OF TANKS
Is the charge a monthly charge? Or buy as you need situation? Does the battle take away from the strength of your garage then requiring more money to restore the level of the garage? Thanks Sax

The game is entirely free.
Essentially you start with a basic tank and control it in the 3rd person (although you can go into first for aimed shots). You earn credits and experience (XP) from playing the game and at the end credits is deducted to repair and rearm your tank. You use XP earned to unlock upgrades in the forms of better guns, engines or tracks and to gain access to the next tank. You use credits to buy upgrades and new tanks.
I think you start with four garage spaces so you can run four tanks at a time (can only play one tank per game) but you can expand by using gold.
You can pay for gold to upgrade your garage to a premium one (premium account) this gives you more xp and credit for each battle. Later on the game bad performance in the game can lead to negative income, as in you lose money due to repairs or ammunition so Premium garages come into their own then. Gold can also be used to purchase premium tanks, these are special tanks that earn more credits and xp per battle. For example I have a Churchill, M4A2E4 (I think) and Lowe in my garage.
Each tank will also generate a small amount of free XP per match, this can be used to progress any tank. If you have unlocked all the upgrades on one tank it will still continue to generate XP in battle and you can use gold to convert this into free XP.
It's worth having a quick bash as its often easier to experience it rather than have me confuse you with a dodgy explanation!

Re: WORLD OF TANKS
I've got a KV, SU85, Stug, Lepoard and a Grille without spending any money.
The Tank Destroyers always earn me credits (even when they get destroyed) so they'll pay for my tanks later on. I had a Tiger II in Beta and that always seemed to lose me credits as it was expensive to repair and buy ammo.
P.S. I hate Lowe's
