3 to 1 gearboxes

Post by matthewpeter »

I have just put a pair of 3 to 1 brass gear boxes with their integral plate in my Tiger, replacing its old metal replacement boxes. One box runs fine but the other is really reluctant to turn over, at first I thought it was jamming but it isn't, it turns over freely but the right motor is easily faster than the left.

I have a suspicion its the motor but does anyone have any theories i.e. electrical problem maybe?

they are working ok now, they just needed bedding in. Tank works beautifully but the new drives are too much for the rather tired 1700mAH battery, going to have to replace that with something better!

cheers for the help
