WirbelWind nearly ready for paint

Post by STEINER »

Its been a long time since I have been on the Forum. I started the wirbelwind nearly 18 months ago and now its nearly ready for paint. The Quad cannons have fibre optics running through to the Flash arrestors connected to an LED. Metal tracks sprockets and idlers fitted along with opening front hatches. It will have a driver and wo/mg gunner to compliment the cannon crew and TC. I intend to fit a sound module, that will be operated on turret traverse. The voice over will say achtung enemy jabo bomber open fire. It will have an overlay of cannon fire and aircraft engine noise.

Cheers

STEINER.

Steiner I found these pictures last night, the same ones you posted. I guess you sent them. I recall we were talking about the wiring when you stopped working on this project. Seems you worked that issue out.

Very happy to see you active again, cheers Pal

Thanks for the complemantary comments guys its much appreciated. Sax, its good to be back and thanks for that, now for the labour intensive part, the paint work. Andy, I would love to run this along side your Ostwind, that would be something else !! We could take the flanks of an RC Kampfgruppe LOL.
Cheers.
