Hello everybodypeeps ! - I'm not sure where this topic should go , as it's probably just a H/L Tiger thang , but as it is about aftermarket stuff i'll post it here , if that's o.k. - for those that have tried fitting M*to 3to1 brass gearboxes will probably be familiar with the , erm , alignment problem - shown by the red arrow in this pic . basically the r/h gearbox is on the p%ss ( i havn't seen a straight one yet

) i have seen various bodges , washers , spacers etc. used to remedy this but here's how i dun it , 1, remove the final drive shafts from both gearboxes . 2, fit the l/h box normally . 3, place some clingfilm over where the r/h box goes . 4,then mix up some Araldite epoxy (or similar)and apply a generous spodge to the g'box underside , i used one screw to phold the r/h box in position . 5, then thread a 5mm rod through them . Voila ! the glue makes a perfect 'spacer' without stress/distortion . the rod keeps everything true . 6, when set , remove the rod , r/h gearbox and clingfilm . 7, clear any blocked mounting holes with a drill . 8, replace the shafts/gears . 9, bolt everything up . job done .

*P.S. this mod only applies to the Asiatam hull , the stock H/L Tiger has it's front screw post between the 'boxes , so the rod trick won't work . Blimp.
