I'm not really sure how close to scale height my Estes 'Big Daddy' rocket is compared to a full scale V2 rocket but I think it deserves a new paint scheme as a camo green V2 complete with the Balkencruz. I want to use it as a diorama for the battlefield. We are going to work on the field this weekend so I'll start the paint tonitedoesn 't need much prep as it's had this scheme for 8 or so years.

Re: Taylor Field Armor Association field build
We weren't able to work on the fiels this weekend, the weather turned south, but I got some work done on the "V2" as well as got some video editing finished.
Here's a video I shot while driving my FPV AX10 crawler. The focus seems off but it's due to the polycarbonite wind screen distorting the pic. I plan to get some tank FPV video shot this week end.

Hey Wizz just love that V2 cann,t wait until it,s got a proper paint job and stood in the corner of the battlefield on it,s launch platform............................it would be a pity too hide it in a woodland scene where you can only see the top of it,................

I was thinking atop one of our mountains so it's visible from the entire field and it's protected from being smashed by wayward FPV tankers. LOL I've had this rocket since my oldest son was 3, we used to launch it tegether, he's 17 now. I was looking for photos to make a scale launcher as well and they will be functional.

Most of us are in airplane mode right now. I helped Ricky set up this blog page (http://lorcs.blogspot.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). There will be an actual website built by Timmy.
We had some pretty gusty winds this past month. While the forest still stands, some of the trees are bent at a 45 degree angle. ANd cleared out some of the tumbeweeds that got caught amongst the former Christmas tree branches that now function as trees for our forest.
Still want to dig out the harbor with something better than a garden tiller. And of course, more roads and buildings need to be built. But is how things stand here now at the beginning of March.

I plan to finish up the V2 and church soon. Then I'd like to put some rails on the Trestle bridge

I was able to get some work done on my "V-2" for our field. I just used some Krylon basecote and I'll be detailing soon.
Now to get some details on it and finish up the chuch build.
