Some Tank Pics from Bovingdon

Post by Bigwheels_inc »

Hi Guys
popped out to the tank musium today & took some pics
thought they may be usefull to someone, there are more but time etc to upload 300 tank pics LOL,
so I just put up the ones I thought where the most intresting ones,
will be going again sometime as its near to me and easy to get to by car :~
the only problem I found was theres no way of taking shots of the rear decks and turret top easily :(

Great pictures, wish I lived closer as its many many years since I was last there!
I'm building a scratch Cromwell based on a HL bulldog chassis so any pictures of the Cromwell deck and turret would be appreciated if you have taken any.

Thanks for sharing Pete,
Nice pics.
I haven't been there for about 4-5 years now, I've heard theres lots of "interactive" stuff there now, did you see or do any of that ?

Hi Sparks
I went and they had one hall called the tamiya section which they had "closed off" for "vehicule moving" so unless its in there i dont know
there was'nt much interactive stuff but there were some great model tanks abour twice the size of the ones im used too (could be 1/10 ?) and a few tv screens with video about tanks
