Lend Lease act signed into law March 11,1941

President Roosevelt signed Public law 77-11 on this date in 1941,effectively ending United states Neutrality. Billion in supplies and armaments were provided to many allied countries with only two ever repaying the full debt,Great Britain and Canada. China,Russia and France had other ideas after WWII and they found reasons not to comply.

This is one of the main reasons NATO is funded by Canada,UK and United States as their continued mutual defence agreements have always produced a comradeship and respect for the military assets each field and maintain.
