It would depend on the Tamiya Kit Number, especially as the King Tiger has three versions and not all are current production kits with the twin gearboxes. I would suggest looking at the e-bay hobby sites and take a look at the vendors here like Dave Forgebear and Steve @ Welshdragon. Certainly with these guy's you will get your moneys worth and a current production kit. Sax

Hi Blake...its not for me...I was just wondering if it was a good price....I did not realise tamiya did so many variants...I am happy with my heng long pather at the mo...the wife still thinks I only paid £50 and all my extra bits are cheap!!!...if only she knew...one day, when the kitchen, bedrooms....bathroom...garage, etc, is finished, I will treat myself to a tamiya...

A King Tiger from a well known UK vendor was £530 just before Christmas 2010 (I believe it still is) 56018

Sherman 56014 is £400

Tiger1 56010 £500
