just got myself a h/l pershing cheap no electronics or tracks if anybody has any plastic tracks please let me know, now question why do some pershings have track guards and others dont is it the ones without came later i dont know much about these us tanks

I raised this question a little while ago. I believe the track guards were in use in the latter stages of WW2, but removed due to clogging problems when the Pershings were used in Vietnam and Korea. I am scratch building a 1/8th scale Pershing in the WW2 era and will be leaving them on.
With regards to tracks etc. Forgebear can help you out with all that malarkey at great prices etc.

yep spot on though there are a few pics with ww2 pershings without the guards , but most kept them
