Re: lipo battery please help
I run lipo in all my tanks I use 4000 mah lipos and i also you low voltage cut offs to prevent battery damage from running them to low
Re: lipo battery please help
would the electrical side cope with them being 7.4v with out frying them
i have been told they are a better battery and longer running time
am more worried about the circuit boards cooking and burning them out
it's some thing to looking too have been looking at them
cheer's derek

7.2 or 7.4 realy makes no differance other than better run time the is a small increas in speed but no harmfull effects on the rx18 or tamiya boards

Hi,
A fully charged NiMh pack gives out more than 7.2v anyway, the theoretical voltage 0.2v increase should make no difference whatsoever.
Bubba mentioned a low voltage cut off. One of these is pretty vital. If you over discharge a LiPo pack you will knacker it.
