Found the zimmerite for 8 bux! Its on the way..a shame the ass end is all buggered up already it wont look uniform and it will be a nightmare to attach..unless I but a new rear panel and all the parts..perhaps another day.

Just a side note. Its a bit ood to find a guy from TENNESSEE say Cheers

As for the greeting and use of cheers comes from hanging around these guy for the last couple of years. So I try to fit in, nothing more than that. I have spent many hours on this forum because of the group,no crap, well monitored forum where idea's are encouraged and everyone can expect and do receive the same respect .

We have built a data base found no where else with easy access to all members, Here you will see some truly gifted modelers, and their work. But the difference seems to be here they share their skills openly, and everyone benefits.

So as you have found out their are many different people here,a complete group of Texans, with a fine battlefield. Some Virginia boys and a few from Florida. And we all talk the Kings English,Proper Southern, or anything in between. So I must ask from where on the rock would you call home?

Forgot, the battle system I use is unique and as yet not completed,my tanks originally were airsoft type. The I/R Systems are popular and I am not really qualified to give an opinion on these systems as my knowledge is very limited when it comes to I/R systems.

My tanks have the basic RX18 CONTROL UNIT,even the Tamiya King Tigers. But that is all I need until we finish the details of the battle system, then I may be upgrading in the future. But for now the RX18 is all I need.

The electronics board has excellent information on battle-systems and control systems. cheers Sax

Nomad, Vagabond, Call me what you will. I dont really have a place I would call home. Im the military so I have never been in one place to long. I am currently in Ct but that is ending in a few months. Im thinking about heading south to Va or lower.

Been calling alot of fellows in the area about tanks and picking lots of brains. There is alot of knowledge to absorb but I am picking up speed fast. I have decided to get the DMD t-03 unit which means I need to swap to the twin drive set up. Is anyone interested in a classic tamiya KT gear train? Less then an hour of run on it.

I heard rumor on the RCU forum that the KT and tiger 1 GT are interchangeable except the mounting holes. Can anyone double confirm this? Found a set on evil bay for 71 shipped which is about half what Tamiya says they should go for.

Started doing a dry fit up on the entire hull and painting what parts can be. Do you guys take effort to fill the seems where the two halves fit up or is this a futile effort due to the nature these models are used?
