i have removed everything apart from the wires connecting to the motors, and have wired up a switch following wibblywobblys instructions, the power source i have is a 7.2 volt battery, is this too low a power for the motors?

hey there! i have a torro t34/85 and am trying to get it to run with a hl rx18 board as the stock electrics were pants.
i have removed everything apart from the wires connecting to the motors, and have wired up a switch following wibblywobblys instructions, the power source i have is a 7.2 volt battery, is this too low a power for the motors?
please help!

I use a 7.2v battery in mine with stock electronics, just to slow it down a bit, so should be fine.

cheers for that, think it may be the crystals in the reciever and transmitter, they are two different frequencies! doh!
