Trumpeter King tiger 2 in 1.

Appreciate that it isn't R/c but for those of us who are 1/16th King tiger fanatics, Trumpeter are about to release a "2 in 1" giving both Henschel AND "Porsche" turrets with full interior. Prices have been quoted as low as £135 which knobs me off no end as I paid nearly £300 for a Porsche only version I'm starting to build!

I've joined it but it shames my building skills looking at some of this stuff. One guy who built an Ardennes offensive KT even fabricated leaves from forest trees to put on the floor of the turret/tank walked in on the tank crews boots!!!

David Parker, the editor of AFV Modeller magazine who's doing a build of this kit in the Mag started it off I think. He's also fabricated some brilliant resin parts that are missing in the kit ( these have cost me nearly as much as the bloody kit!!) which are for sale on the magazine web page. When its done its an awesome kit that have taken some modellers, years to complete. I'm just thinking about beginning and getting all the bits together so my spare time for the next couple of years is fairly well mapped out.

Its only going to be a shelf queen but sits alongside the "living" ones pretty well. Just for info.
