Re: King Tiger Main Gun differences
I'm good guy's. Might upgrade the Porsche as the gun system I have been working on uses the two piece barrel. The information though has been very interesting for me,learned from this thread several things I did not know or realize. I am grateful for all the input.

Re: King Tiger Main Gun differences
I have not seen the complete video before, why choke it out in the water? I guess they really did not see the value in the tank the way we do today. Seems a shame to waste the engine by flooding it with water. Also wonder where this tank ended up?
The barrel issue is clearly visible,I could have a blown apart barrel and a two piece barrel. Two versions one tank? Their were also some odd markings on the front drivers side I can't make out, almost looks like a flower or spiral design. Several good views of the fenders and how the zimmerite was applied. Man I really like seeing stuff like this, it makes me curious. I would like to find a way to determine where the Porsche Turret versions went.
I have only found two references to Grossdeutschland receiving one company of KT's. And then the photo from ICE showing the Grossdeutschland crew member, anyone have any information on a good source for KT deployment?
