I've found that personally I like the wider view angle lens cameras like 100deg or more. It's somewhat distorted on the edges but similar to getting a peripheral view the camera I shot the video with was $16 from Hobby King. browse these productshttp://

I bought a 100mw 900mhz set which I used in the truck but [glow]
WARNING!!![/glow] You need a Amature Radio operators License to use these. It's only $20 for ten years and you need to study some material and take a test. The camera isn't the greatest and looking through the polycarbonite is rough too. lol I used my 120deg 520 line panasonic camera ($30) on my Tiger and it works very well. you can even see the pellets trajectory. aiming is very easy but the battlefeild from that perspective changes the strategies used I think. Heres me driving the Tiger with the googles.

you can see the 78deg in front of the apple. its the one I filmed withand its larger than I'd like for a tank commander. The 120deg Panasonic is less than half the size
I have a 400mw 1.3Ghz VTx that gave a clear picture at 1.25miles @ 400' ~ 500'. In my TwinstarII

I'll post more tomorrow
