Re: battery charger
Does not sound good. Smart charger is a good investment. These batteries can burn if overcharged. A smart charger will go onto trickle when charging complete and is I think a lot safer. Also worth upgrading the battery for one that gives longer play time.
Re: battery charger
I agree, certainly chargers and batteries will get warm. Sometimes there's a smell off them.
I wouldnt trust those included chargers. Worthwhile buying one.
Re: battery charger
Hi there
, Cheers for the replies, I must admit I only charge it when sitting watching telly as there is a socket next to me so I can keep an eye on it
Its only the charger, the battery isnt getting at all warm but charged ok as I flattened it the day before and had a play this morning and all was well :~
I will look at one of these smart charger, no doubt there are some on fleabay.
Thanks Andy

Re: battery charger
This is from my local seller. Do not how much for postage as he always uses insured trackable postage. Price is good though and in Euro which is weak against Sterling at the momnent. €40 is only about £30 - £32
Great charger. Think I will buy one.

Forgebear supports the forum but I like cheap.

Re: battery charger
Pretty much most chargers will get hot when charging. But if you physically cannot touch it then there is something wrong with that unit. I just charged a battery for over 10 hours and it the charger and battery were only slightly warm.
Just make sure you are charging the battery on a flat surface with relatively decent airflow.

It is never just "one" tank!
