Hello all

Post by Panther_John »

Hi all, thought i'd pop in and say hello. The names John (but you've probably gathered that), i have two tanks now with the latest being the Panther (no sound) from Heng Long and the other is a HL Tiger 1 (with sound). Tried to join the Army in 1990 but failed the medical so the only tank driving i do is RC, it was my Dad that got me into tanks because he played with the Centurion mk 5/2 for a good few years when he was in the Royal Tank Regiment.

I'll be asking alot questions about modifying and upgrading the Panther so i hope you don't mind, i have no problem with the outside of the tank as i've been building models for years, it's the inside (the bits you plug the battery into).

Anyways, thanks for having me, John

Hi John from another John. Same as you, no problems with the modelling but electronics are a mystery. Some excellent tigers in the build section. Any questions just ask. You will be bombarded with answers.
