etching primer

Hi all, im going to start airbrushing my heng long tanks soon, BUT i wondered if i should use a etching primer first, if so what can you recommend, thanks, Malc..

i only use etching primer on metal parts, hope this helps

I use it on all metal parts. You can get it in Halfords. They have an aerosol by UPOL. Unlike normal primer it bonds to the outer surface of the metal and helps prevent oxidization. It's about £12 per can but goes a long way.
