Hi,
my name is Ian Fowler, from Spalding, South Lincs.
I'm in my second childhood at 67 years young.
Living where I do my great interest is aircraft.
this is because Lincs is bomber county, and being
close to Cambs.,Norfolk,Suffolk,Essex ec.
they were part of my life.
However during my youth I enjoyed plastic kit modelling
and loved the shape of the Tiger so modelled it numerous time.
This must have have laid latent in the back of my mind until the build
the tiger mag. came out @ about £5or6 hundred squids. this clashed
with a net surfing visit introduced me to Heng Long Tiger, nowwww
its sod the planes go for r/c tanks that was 6 months ago.
I now have 8 No. 1/16 tanks and have just ordered Matorro King Tiger.
1 No.1/16 M16 halftrack.
As a type of eye candy 21st century/ultimate soldier flak36/37 88
and am waiting for a 1/18 hanomag skfdz 251 which I shall look into
the possibility of converting to r/c.
I know its slightly smaller scale but what the hell who' measuring.
Sorry for the ramblings but will sign off and hope to converse with
some of youes soon

Hi Ian,
Welcome to the forum
A lot of us use 1/18 figures with our 1/16 tanks, so the difference in scale can't be that noticable.
