also fitted the turret side doors, opened up the vision slit and removed some of the moulded fixings and added bolts

spent today working on the mg mount , ive modified the mount so its fully movable just like the real mount , this was done by removing the moulded bolts and replacing with ba10 bolts ,i also pinned the mount where it fits to the cupola and threaded the pinch bolt so it can be positioned anywhere on the cupola

Is that the mg mount that Mike Stannard produces. Want to get one for my tiger. Turret bin looking good. Cannot get anything done at the moment. Going away next week for a month. Time for some research.

no its the one that came with the kit, armourpax make them ,the mike stannard one is fully movable as standard

I have just ordered some armorpax parts. I saw the mg mount but thought being white metal it might be a bit bendy and weak. How do you rate it. Certainly a lot cheaper than the Mike Stannard part and you have done a great job on it. I'm cheating on my Turret bin. Sending the parts to Steve winstone to be reworked.

i think the armorpax mount should hold up to the job, but my armoured mg 34 is the plastic one , and for the price its worth a go

added the brass rain guards to the turret , the drilled out 74 holes and added brass rivets to the turret bin

Coming along really well. Great work. Where are you getting your bolts and rivets. I will need some.

from ebay , im using ba thread , so just put ba into the search , likewise with the rivets , if you have no luck , i will try and find the link

Very impressed and very sorry about Blitzkrieg Armour. What was the price of the kit ? One of my favorites is the the PIV..
