barrel elevation help

barrel elevation help

Hi having a few probs a with HL Panzer 3...the barrel has stopped going up and down...Anybody got any links with info to replace the motor...

hi there can you still hear the motor running when you pull the left stick down it may well be that the small plastic clip on the back of the bb unit has snap off if so you will need to rplace the bb unit thanks dave

Yes you can still here the motor...Its an infrared version with recoiling barrel if that helps..Thanks

???? i am not familar with the infra red panzer 3 sorry. if you want to send me an email with a piccie of the tank, it might jog my aged memory or it might have an asitam recoil. i'll have a look. thanks dave (theallertons@fsmail.net)

cheers Dave..I will take some pics later..It came along wit a load of broken and returned times I purchased cheap..got the rest working apart from this one...

just done a re check ..theres no motor sound..so it looks like thats the prob...are they interchangeable at all ...as I have a few scrap HL Tanks ?

hi yes they are if you have one for the panzer a tiger one will fit as well you say its an ir tank but a panzer 111 so has it been moded as panzer 111 heng long dont make an ir one only bb thats why i asked for a picture thanks dave

OK Dave...I managed to sort it...The motor had gone so I removed one from a snow leopard and took the motor out of it..just need to work out why it freezes once in a while..but if I turn the remote off and then back on again its usualy fine for a few mins..

thats great it could be the transmitter if you have a spare one change the crystal and see if it works with another transmitter

Given that a try...I will try it again in the morning once the circuit cleaners had chance to do its work as the soldering in Heng long Tanks leaves a lot to be desired to say the least LOL
