Re: Questions from a naive newbie!
My new 1/6 tiger has a 12 gauge blank firer but I will probably not fit it. Prefer to use ulectronic sound and light. Less mess. If you want to shoot stuff invest in a good airsoft gun or ten. The bb shooter on the tak is a bit feeble. I have asked lots of stupid questions on this forum and will ask many more. Really it depends on where you want to go with this. I just have light and sound without battle sound as I have nobody to battle with. Heng Long are fine to start with. Upgrades can get xpensive. Tamiya are well detailed but are kits and you could still end up making ugrades and they are expensive.

I have bought a Jagdpanther and a Panther off Dave at Forgebear and he is a great guy to deal with. Go for a Heng Long Panther G they are great value for money. Mark

Re: Questions from a naive newbie!
In response to Dave (forgebear) comments, I noticed the Heng Long box says the tank can be BB firing or infra red, I think this just means other vendors do not know their product as well as Dave does, just as he indicated, and they have just repeated whats on the box.
So for good advice go to an expert - only had mine for 3 weeks and I'm already buying bits from Dave to customise my latest project.
