Gareth, In the future if you need hardware based on where you live many companies sell through vender's.

i use two companies, DU-BRO http://www.dubro.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is one and Great Planes http://www.greatplanes.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is the other. Now these links are their home pages, but find what you need and note the part number.

Then use the vendor locator and find the nearest vendor to you. I use alot of Du-Bro hardware as they have a large selection and I prefer Allen head bolts for my Tanks. cheers Saxondog

Hi gareth
When you found a replacement bolt did you have a size chart to get the right one
or was it hit or miss, the reason I'm asking is: when I stripped my tiger down one
of the drive wheels was held on my a screw not a bolt, it is holding but if I could
get the bolt I would change.

I was looking through ebay :{ :{ and thought type in rc tank parts when looking through
I found metal gears not intending to buy " just bored  " I had a look, in demensions
of product it said M3 screw hole in drive shaft, I then typed in M3 bolts and came
up with a few dealers selling them for around 2 to 3 pound for a pack, P&P free.

a lot I know but if others are like me always handy, will try my local ironmonger first.

the bolts i used were pretty much the same size, i found that the bolts you use to mount pcb's to the pcb stands fitted fine (they're about 3mm X 8mm)

Welcome to the forum Sir!

I think your new gear boxes should come with bolts for the sprockets.
