I fitted a similar thing to my Tam Tiger 1, think it came from Back Yard Armor, but can't remember the manufacturer.
It did make a difference in the way the tank run, (more realistic performance), to me anyway, but that might have been influenced by the price tag :haha: But is it worth the money ? I think thats down to how much you want it, I wasn't dissapointed with it, but its not an essential upgrade, my other tanks are still running fine.

There nice I have them in my KT and my Panther just make shore you got them adjusted correctly and watch out over time they can change so check your adjustments and more often with metal tracks.

Waylander,I am curious as too the reasoning for wanting to change out the torsion bars? Track issues,or wheel issues, or some other problem? As I have two King Tigers I'm not sure if these are really needed,or once installed the benefit? What is the weight of your King Tiger? Sorry for all the questions but this is a rather costly and complicated upgrade, have you replaced the wheel bushings with the new bearing available for the King Tigers?

Hi Saxondog
Sorry I did not state that this was going to be a new build with all upgrades which will include new bearing. As for weight I think it will be quite heavy as I intend to us as many metal high detail replacement parts I can find for this project .

I see that does change things, Good luck Steve. Do start a build thread, and post some good pics. This will be very helpful to me and I'm sure other members as well. So your building the full option Tamiya with all the bells and whistles. Excellent, look forward to your build.
