Howdy From Maryland
Howdy From Maryland
Hello All,
Just a brief intro. I'm Clint, 40 and a native of Texas. 5 years as an M1A1 armor crewman (1990-1996) and have been building 1/35th armor off-and-on since my early teens- first model was a Monogram Sherman. Currently reenacting World War One Canadian Scottish and British Victorian (1890s).
Have always been intimidated by the cost and size of 1/16 stuff but have just acquired an H-L Panther as my first large scale RC tank. Gathering info to convert to Panther F eventually. However Brit armor is really my favorite subject and hope to see more Brit armor in 1/16.
Great site and lots of good info and plenty of inspiration!
Cheers,
Clint

Welcome to the forum Clint. It would be great to see some British Armour from the manufacturers maybe we should send a petition to Heng Long for a Comet, Churchill even a Bren Carrier. Also a Chaffee or Greyhound would be good too!! Best wishes magmer

Welcome Clint, Another Texan sounds fine by me. Although I'm in Tennessee I would like to visit the Taylor field Texans and run some German Armor. Perhaps you could do the same.We all hope for more British armor. Check out member chris3 he has produced some fine kits.
