Cheers guys.........

Here are the small hooks fitted onto the fan decks..
Image

Have not attached the track holder chains on this side yet as I have to cut off the running board.....

Here is the small metal bracket that has a rope wrapped around it...fitted in the right place, but fouls the turret!...all just temp fitted till the runnig board has gone..will have to sort that out
Image
I have seen on one or two pics with the rope holder facing horizontal....need to research this more.....

Here is my effort with the schurtzen.....after I applied common sense!

Here you can just make out the bent arms keeping the skirts away from the track

And a side on to see the results..

Hi all.....done some little bits tonight....which uncovered another problem, well, in my eyes :S

Here you can see the little stop that I made for the commanders cupola..Then I noticed that the cupola arm is to long...
Image

And I also added the stop for when it is shut...then noticed that the little half round thing in front was not in-line with the front episcope...
Image

Sliced it off and placed it where it should be....very silly heng long mistake
Image

Here you can see the arm of the cupola is way to long, the round edge should be touching the stop!....this is something I will have to think about as its a big mod....
Image

In this picture you can see what I mean...the where the cupola meets the stop...

Nic...(I am making a rod for my own back!!)

In the photograph, it looks like the stop extends farther from the bracket it's welded on than yours does. Instead of messing with the arm for the hatch, maybe you could make the bracket come out far enough to meet the hatch when it's open. Just a thought. -Mike

Hi Mike, that thought crossed my mind, but it would look a bit odd.....its definitly the swing arm is to long on the heng long, here are two more pics of the real thing, you can see that the arm is shorter and set back in a bit.......

Hi again.here is another thing I have done. The main gun travel lock now pivots..I sliced the lock away from the bracket, and drilled through the holder and drilled into the arm, then cut off a bit of paper clip to slot in the arm holes, the plastic is quite flexable so I was able to bend the base to take the arm ......
