There is some great modelling going on here, I have seen this model in one of your vidoes all finished so you must post the finished pics here too for a closer inspection.

All the best

Hi Alan

No, it's not finished yet. It's up and running but I still have loads to do on it. Combat system, markings, tools, spare tracks, final weathering, crew etc etc etc. All my projects seem to end up this way - almost finished but not quite :S . I keep getting distracted with new projects. ;) I can't remember what stage I reached so I'll take some fresh pics of the Elefant and post them up asap.
At the moment I'm busy building a CNC Router (inspired by guys on this forum like 'chris3') but its taken me longer than I thought it would. I'll post some pics of that too when I've ironed out the bugs.

Cheers
Chris :D

Hi Christian
I've been following your exploits with CNC control ever since you joined our forum. Really great stuff.

Since commercial machines are megabucks, I decided I would have a go at building a CNC Router table. After all, how hard can it be?
Here are some pics of my progress so far:-

As you can see, it's almost finished. I'm using Mach3 to drive it. I don't intend to use it commercially but I'm hoping it will be a great tool for my own projects.
I'll post up my progress on another thread soon.
Cheers
Chris :D

P.S In any case I need to find a place for it now since my better-half wants her dining room table back! Sheesh! 8O

The CNC system looks very impressive Grom, I for one would have NO idea where to start with it. Keep the pictures of the Elefant coming as it's looking fab so far.
