I read Alan Clarks' Barbarossa years ago, and that started my interest in the Panzerwaffe. A fair few pre-built Dragon 1/172 and 1/35 models later, I took the plunge and ordered a ForgeBear re-sprayed Heng Long Tiger(great guy highly recommended) and now it's arrived, i'm hooked. A bit of a funny interest for a serving squaddie, and if my wifes eyes roll anymore they'll fall out, but it's pretty good this RC Tank hobby, and I look forward to getting tips and pointers from you experts. Next step? Tank riders would be nice (any ideas appreciated-pre painted cos I struggle painting a wall), MG34 on a bipod and a recognition flag for the turret. Of course, a new STUG111 would be great, but the cost (in blood and handbags) may be a little steep. If you are selling yours off in the future, give me a bell...................

Re: Hello From Portsmouth
Welcome, most of what you are asking can be found on this forum, JohnL has just posted a how-to on painting figures, but also in that post are links of where to buy Tank riders and some are pre-painted.
Also a recent post on Recognition flags , their was a vendor on e-bay but they slammed him for the Swastika flags.
Enjoy the forum and post lots of pictures, cheers
