Kelly's Heroes

Post by oldfeller »

Hi All

Hi All

Been out of it for a while.

Probably others have noticed, but thought I would have my say :S .

At the end of “ Kelly’s Heroes “ you know the bit were the three
Of them walk up to the Tiger, and the German gets out.

Well the hatch door open to the left ( out side ) of the turret, Tank facing forward.

When Oddball drives off its open to the right ( in side ) of the turret, Tank facing
Forward.

Have my eyes finally gone like clarence the lion's   .

There are 3 tigers 112 113 115

http://www.salt6.com/tigers.htm

I guess that when they built them they didn't think about making all the hatches open the same way.

Hi Waz

In the film I thought there was only one left? .

Just had another look and the one the German got out of
and the one Oddball drove off in were both No 115 :eh: .

Its not a real Tiger tank its a T34 made to look like a Tiger tank they might have made the capola like the American capolas the could turn so that would mean the hatch could open in any direction and Tiger 115 was the only one to survive the battle in the film woof woof.

That is just one of very many continuity and historical mistakes in the film.
Still a great film though
