Clubs, Meetings, Battles

Post by morph1155 »

I'm very new to RC Tank warfare and having trawled the forums for the last few days I have not yet seen any listings of clubs or meeting places ect..... I know on youtube there are some good vid's of battles and such but I'm wondering where would someone like me....' ie a new to the hobby person' go to find these local types of groups where I can get a look at the tanks in use and talk face to face....or how would I find out about these battles and displays that I can attend (assuming my boss gives me time off lol)

Co-incidentaly if there are any groups around the Burnley area of Lancashire (UK) give me a nudge. :D
I asked a friend to help clean a tank I was using, he turned up with a small sponge and some tropical fish flakes. He almost fainted when I took him out in the garden and there was a full sized replica of a sherman parked there.

Hi There is a meeting in Luton at the end of the month,I will be going with my grandson,I live in Nelson so your only four or five miles from me .You are the nearest member to me ,the next nearest lives in Manchester and another in St Helens, one in Huddersfield, were pretty spread out,But the more that join ,more chance of someone nearer.
