Hi there,
I'am new to rc tanks at the moment I dont have an rc tank but my fav tank has to be the King tiger tank.
I really prefer the WWII tanks as against the modern ones.
I,am 48yrs young......lol and I have many hobbies such as flight simming and photography mainly wildlife and landscapes as well as macro. Model live steam trains is another wee hobby in between all that I manage to work.....lol.
Maybe some of you guys can steer me in the right direction as to the best way to start off this what seems to me to be a wonderfull Hobby.
Regards,
Brendan. (sarge).

Welcome sir! there are a very many great tanks that would be good to start with. I would just sugest reasearch well so you know which are best suited to the type of driving/modeling you intend to do. A Heng Long is a great entry level tank and can give you something to drive around while you build a more scale or higher end model. I started with a HL Tiger I because of the vast array of upgrades available for it. I started purchasing and soon decided that all of the upgrades would just eventually be another model altogether so I just started assembling them into what is now going to be my 'full option' model with Elmod and IR.
I also intend to keep my HL stock as a carpet basher with a upgraded pelet gun for shooting cans around the house
