I don't know if anyone else knows about the Fan Films, but I thought I would mention them anyway.
There are good and dire, one of the best is the prequel to Lord of The Rings, take a look...it only cost around £3k to make and it was all done by amateurs. Truly amazing stuff.

One guy made a movie in the style of War of The Worlds and was offered a $7m deal by Hollywood???
This guy has made an entire episode of Doctor Who...and its excellent

This one is good and cheap....and it got me thinking about what we could do with the tanks if we had the right scenery, more figures, and some uniforms. A 'Villiers Bocage' perhaps?

Yes great idea! Come on folks I'm sure some of you are amateur film makers also. Here's a few I've found on you tube I like.

Excellent, I wish I had the knowledge to do something like that. The animatronics on the 1/6 Tiger are brilliant, and I note that in the last one he has got the Maybach engine sound correct. Possibly lifted from a sound track of 131 when it was running?

This is one of the best I have come across;

A few inaccuracies on the tank but I think it is a good film.
Cheers,
Dave

Damn, that pistol port..lol
Great effects though, and he could have got it spot on if he used slo-mo.
I really must have a go at this at the next meet, take a load of clips of different tanks in action and edit the footage into a full blown battle. It might work...on the other hand it might not!
