Re: paint
Hi Wizard033, This is the paint scheme I was going for also. In the Osprey book, modelling the Tiger 1 they have tackled the paint scheme for Tiger 1331. Here is what the book says, "After priming with a dark brown floquil lacquer, it was basecoated in a Tamiya acrylic mixture of Dunkelgelb. Camouflage stripes of thinned Tamiya Olive Green followed." Did'nt go into any detail of paint numbers unfortunatly. Any way he then weathered the hell out of it so that you could barely see the shade of green. I wasu using Vallego paints and made a mix of Reflective Green/Olive Grey and camo mid green. I have some posts of my attempt under member name Johnf.
I have since finished the tiger and hope to get more photos loaded soon. Good luck with the build and post lots of photos.

Re: paint
Most of the information you guy's need is available in the painting and weathering section and the reference section that has a link to WACKY's site where all the builders instruction manuals are listed for free download. The manuals list the Tamiya colors for the paint schemes of each tank. This may help some what in finding the colors you seeking.
As for filler, MILLIPUT is popular, I use a product called MMD Fast drying white putty. It will set up and be dry and sand-able in 15-mins.
