Warnings

Post by oldfeller »

Hi All

Since you using this Forum I've been having
a lot of Warnings coming up after doing a computer
scan 82 last time, which were healed.

" Sent to virus vault then deleted ".

Only went on the forum, done another computer scan
this time I had 52 Warnings, which were healed.

Any others been having this problem.

Gerwyn, are you sure about your settings? Seems like the virus software may be seeing this site as a threat, I have to allow a site on the Norton anti virus before it will stop giving error messages, I have Reg-cure as well and a scan today reviled no problem.s?

Their are others here who have a far better understanding of these things than me, you might want to PM Scooby he should know how to address this issue.

After they have been sent to the virus vault run another scan before visiting any more sites, post the results when you're done :D

Hi Sc00by22

Cheers Mate, will do.

I'm with AVG free, it takes about 1 to 2 hours
to do scan, try tomorrow and post.

Hi Sc00by22

Run second scan and no warnings.

The computer calls them warnings, but in the box where they come up in
and when in the virus vault they come under " cookies".

Had 33 warnings this morning got rid of them, went on forum for about 5 min's
done scan had 8 warnings.

They slow my computer down " like a snail going over salt", probably have to
scan more often.

Cookie warnings are nothing to worry about, they are just text files so no harm can be caused to a computer by them
