Adding photos
Would like to add some photos of Tiger 1 in progress. Have downloaded photo bucket and set up album. How do I post photos?
Re: Adding photos
I don;t use photobucket because it sets up a link rather than just seeing the pics as you read the thread(unless there is another way).
Easy to load pics from any file on your home network.
1) Size has to be correct (megabites) I usually post pics at less thanb 100mb for fast loading.
2) type your post out, if it is long, save it before adding pics..sometimes the post gets lost (only when I type a long one)
3) scroll down to upload attachment, click browse, find your file, double click pic, then hit 'add file'
Some people add 10-20 pics at a time(i don;t know how), some insert them into the post. I like to add them to the end where I can add a description.

Re: Adding photos
Thanks for the help. I think photos are saved in too large a size on my computer. I will try to resize them. Will get there eventually.

Re: Adding photos
I use a site called http://tinypic.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , you basically upload the photo to their site and they give you a code called 'IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards', just copy and paste it into your post where ever you want.
Doing it this way means you dont upload anything big to rctankwarfare so you dont use up the space. Always check the images when you add them to text by clicking 'Preview' button at bottom of page.
Hope this helps,
Dave

Re: Adding photos
couple of websites which may come in handy for pics
1st online host sites
http://imageshack.us/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
if you are on a netbook or laptops you may need a online editing pictures sites like these
http://www.picresize.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.resizr.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
its trial and error at first but you should get the hang of it
