Tamiya lights are the same?

Hi just wondering if the light systems for tamiya tanks are all the same, my tamiya pershing seems to not have lights for the front and rear of the hull (i bought it second hand)

Two lights in the front and one in the back, they use grain-of-rice incandescent light bulbs that have a propensity to burn out. In some builds I see that people leave them out completely.

Hi,

It is possible to change the grain of wheat bulbs for led's - I did it on my Sherman some years ago. In those days white led's had a bluish cast to them, but it is now possible to get led's that have a more realistic colour. RS do them, look for "warm white"

(You will need a series resistor to do this)

If the shells themselves are missing you can get metal replacements from afv-model in Germany
