My Panther

Post by Nic.H »

My pather so far......the join at the front is not helped with the new gear boxes, it is better with the front fixing screw in(the 3:1 gear boxes are really tight against the lower hull, pushing it out)...Metal gun, metal ball housing too(wecohe)

Image

Rear deck, again wecohe bits, engine bay door and rear loaders hatch, plus oil and petrol filler caps....the grills and other photo etsched parts are from welshdragon again(aber, I think)

Thanks, Nic

Ps, The wife is away till sunday so the dining table is now covered in tank stuff!...ha ha

The dining table will be empty on Sunday morning......there are to many small parts that will go missing if I leave this stuff out...she still thinks the parts are cheap!

Thanks guys, I hope I can do it justice....Got to practice my airbrushing skills first. Just started fitting the wecohe tool holders, and then I will have a go at the aber spare aerial holder tube, But still lots of little bits to go on before the camo paint...a rod for my own back!.....and I notice that asiatam have brought out metal final drive casings....I am like a magpie when I see shiney metal bits for the tank!

Regards...Nic

Hi........well, I bought the shiney final drive covers................and here they are, Dont try this at home folks......they are great, but do not line up with any of the heng long fixings

Image

And this...

Image
The diameter of the hole to take the small wheel is tiny.....not sure if this is a good investment...seems a lot of re-work for an aparently new piece............got to drill a bigger hole to take the small wheel...........no holes line up......before I have a go at it, ........

Nic

Ps.sorry for staccato text.....been to pub!
