Making a 1/16TH metal tiger I
Re: Making a 1/16TH metal tiger I
Hi If you have a Tamiya compatable battle system ,you could market this now ,there is a shortage of Tamiya compatable battle systems that will fit other tanks.
Do you have a price for the electrics.
I fully understand that making everything compatable so it fits other models is very hard ,just take sprocket drive Tamiya has two flats to drive the sprocket , Heng Long has one flat,so swopping gearboxes from one to the other, has problems normaly means changing the sprocket and possibly the tracks.
You didnt state if you are going to make them as kits or if they will be fully assembled. Some people would like them as kits others fully built.

I agree with having the 'kit' option.

Hi Pete,
Thanks for your information. Our model parts are mostly based on real tiger 1 earlier version. To be honestly, we didn't use tamiya tank as our reference. But if tamiya have a precision size as real tank. I don't think there will be a problem to use our parts as a replacement item.
Best Regards,
Jack

Re: Making a 1/16TH metal tiger I
looking realy good , what does it weigh in at ?
Re: Making a 1/16TH metal tiger I
We will weigh it as it is finnished.
The one has finnished before weighs less 10kg. I think this new tiger I will over 10kg.

Hi I must say you are doing a top notch job,the quality jumps out at you when looking at the photos.
You asked what sort of sounds we like the best on the market at the moment is El-Mod here is a link to there site http://www.el-mod.de/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; this system is even better than Tamiya DMD/MF Units .The sounds can be modified by the user to suit his tastes stored on a SD card then they play back when hooked up to the tank.
You Havnt said if you will be suppling these tanks in kit form or assembled,If they came assembled alot of guys would strip them down to paint them.
regards pete
