Thanks, do you know if they just "bolt in", orare there any mod.'s or mounting hardware involved?

Hi. I just fitted a pair myself, only problem is mounting them on the G...Not all the holes in the bottom plate line up with the panthers fixing lugs, so you have two holding the left and only one on the right. The small nipples line up ok though. I ended up putting a large piece of plastic that fitted in the gap between the floor and bottom of the gearbox, gluing it to the floor then tapping a thread to pick up the holes in the gearbox plate, it has not shifted yet....might invest in the axle bearings to, just to be on the safe side.
Regards Nic
Ps, I would post a pic, but I have lost the lead again!

Re: HL Panther G and Asiatam Gearboxes?
I have a set for my Jagdpanther (tamiya hull). They are VERY nice gearboxes with set screws and well made gears and BB's on drive shaft. However, they are not direct fit for Tammy by any means. height and screw hole alignment ...you will need to fabricate a mounting method.
For HL hulls, there are similar issues with screw holes. I like to fabricate an aluminum plate, grind down the stub HL screw mounts, then mount the plate to the hull, and then through bolt the motors to the hull and plate. Then add a cross brace between the motors.
