Hi jack

Welcome to the forum

You have certainly come to the right place for help and advice, they are a great bunch of guys on here who will help if they can

I started off with a Heng Long and it didn't take long for the upgrading/modifying bug to kick in (i believe they call it armouritis) :haha:

What ever you buy there will be someone on here to give you a few pointers

Before you buy any of them Jack check on here first as some vendors are better than others

we have a few personal choices here but post who you want to buy from and maybe someone here has had good or bad dealings and can point you in the right direction

Some vendors descriptions are very vague and you can never tell what exactly it is 8O  :problem:

the only tank kits available are tamiya and if you can get them bandai (these are 1/18 and very rare )

Most h/longs are reverse kits start pre built but once youve drove it youll soon be ripping it apart to upgrade lol :D :D

Welcome Jack, the starter tank for me was the Tiger. In the end I have spent enough to almost have a Tamiya but the knowledge gained helped me to make better choices on my next 4-tanks. Do check out the vendors list as the recommended vendors have good prices and quality service. Saving a few pounds sometimes does not end well when the tank arrives untested and requiring work.

I just build the German tanks but one American tank I would like the Bulldog, good feedback on this tank and it is one of the bigger tanks in 1/16 scale. But if you want a kit Steve@welshdragon does have some kits on sell.

ok cheers but id rather stick to 1:16 scale
and i'll probably need some experience in modding
