I have been trying to find the forum for about a week but kept getting a 'server is down' message.
Ferreting about on the web and I find it again..
Due to email contacts I know that there are others out there who also think that the forum has vanished, as they still have their shortcut as http://rctankwarfare.co.cc/forums/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which always worked before.
I now see the forum is :
http://rctankwarfare.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It has been there all along! If it has gone quiet, this may be why?

Re: Hmmmm
Kidding right ?
Its been .co.uk for about 8 months now, we announced it and everything after the old host mangaed to loose the .com domain. We said the .co.cc would be temporary as they are a horrible free domain. We even told everybody they should change their bookmarks to .co.uk because the .co.cc wouldnt hang around forever.
Scooby did it so that and .co.cc link automatically transferes to the equivilant .co.uk link, so that in the meantime while people edited their bookmarks their links would still work.
We just moved servers, and i forgot to change the nameservers for the .co.cc domain (points the domain at the right server) so it will going to the old server, which doesnt exist any more = server is down. Ill update the .co.cc name servers.
if anybody cant access the site, please tell them to change there bookmark like they chould have along odd months ago
cheers,
Matt

Re: Hmmmm
Matt -I have changed mine and hopefully word will spread. I guessed it was a web forwarding issue. Due to the site being down, people are assuming that it still is, and not thinking to try the original url. Like me, they just click on their bookmark and get nothing.
Fleshy - Still painting as I type, well almost. I am now on the home stretch with the house, but it has meant doing this and nothing else, virtually morning till night 7 days a week since I arrived. Cleaning old beams, spraying with woodworm treatment, staining them, and then painting walls is right old game I can tell you. It's also very messy!! The tanks are sat on the sideboard and have been demo'd to anyone who says 'are they radio controlled'. They are always impressed when I fire up the tiger. The Perkasa is awaiting completion, but I simply daren't start on that again or the house will never get done. It's a shame I am over here, as the back garden is a huge expanse of undulating terrain that is covered in weedbarrier, it would actually make a perfect surface for battles??
Pics attached just to prove that I am working!
Gone but not forgotten.

Re: Hmmmm
If I can find anyone in Dept 44, it will be! I have looked on the web, but haven't found anything similar to what the UK have got going...maybe I should start a French forum???
