Hi Mate , Acording to my Osprey book heres the following changes that were made to the Ausf.G from the Ausf. F :
April '42 : Vission ports on L and R turret side and on turret L front were dropped,
May '42: Frontal armour increased by welding 30mm plate,
June '42: Rack for two spare road wheels added to track guard, brackets for spare 7 tracks welded to glacis plate, longer antenna gaurd added.
Sept. '42: Bosch headlight replaced the Notek headlight , signal ports on driver and radio opperators hatches removed, ball shape muzzel breake replaced with double-chamber verrsion
Nov. '42: Deflector for antenna welded to gun mantlet,
Feb '43: Smoke dischargers discontinued , drivers twin periscopes dropped , holes plugged then without them , A new cupola lid with single piece lid,
March '43: Signal port on turret roof deleated,
April '43: 30mm frontal add on armour now bolted not welded , L/48 gun changed to L/43 with redesigned muzzel breake , schurzen added.
May '43: Prefilter mounted on right track guard , radio anntena mounted on flexible rubber base now mounted on rear corner of upper deck.
Think thats it all mate , but I supose all these were not done exactly to the date etc.

Re: panzer iv ausf f-g
Hi mate your welcome , I have two Pz.Ivs planned . Ive started one thats the almost final version Ausf. J with the three return rollers etc on this Ive lowered the rear return roller (NOT idler as I previously put ) and the drive sprocket . My second one thats not started is going to be a late Ausf. H .
